Visit Pavlodar region to the Tyumen region

The official visit of our delegation to Tyumen is continuing. Head of the region Bulat Bakauov, who heads the delegation from the Pavlodar region, visited the Antipinsky oil refinery, the metallurgical enterprise Elektrostal of Tyumen, and also visited industrial parks.

At the official meeting the heads of two regions Bulat Bakauov and Vladimir Yakushev announced their intention to cooperate in the supply of vegetables and inert materials from Pavlodar to Tyumen.

As the akim of Pavlodar region has told, the delegation from Irtysh region has arrived to the Tyumen region not casually – this region is very active in attraction of investments and is attractive to potential investors.

“We agreed to cooperate in all directions, including the delivery of construction materials along the Irtysh River,” he said. – In addition, we will establish bridges in the spheres of education, health, tourism. From the greenhouse complexes of the region, we can supply tomatoes and cucumbers to Tyumen.

Governor of the Tyumen region Vladimir Yakushev noted that all the proposed directions are of interest to the region, saying that one of the most important moments in the relations between the two regions is transport logistics.

“What is interesting for each other today is that we have a waterway between us, according to which transport logistics makes our relations more interesting, because river transport is cheaper and the cost of delivery of products becomes cheaper,” Vladimir Yakushev emphasized. – Inert materials that can be delivered to us along the river can then be used to equip our deposits. Today we deliver this product by rail, the tariff for which is quite high. The second point is unequivocally agro-industrial complex, because we are actively developing new technologies in agriculture. At the suggestion of supply of cucumbers and tomatoes – we have a shortage of this product on the market, that’s why we are interested.

Bulat Bakauov also met with representatives of the National and Cultural Autonomy of the Kazakhs of the Tyumen region, which has 18 thousand people. He invited members of the diaspora to the already traditional in Pavlodar festival  «Ұлы дала елі».
